2- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud spoke by phone with the President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa. They discussed bilateral relations, regional issues, security strengthening, and development.
3- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud delivered an important speech at the ceremony inaugurating the President of the North East Administration of Somalia in the city of Laas Caanood.

14- Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation Ali Yusuf Ali is on a working trip to Pakistan, where he will meet with senior government officials.
15- Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism H.E. Daud Aweis Jama met with members of SOMTA, the Somali Tourism Association, focusing on strengthening tourism’s growth in Somalia, which can play a visible role in the country’s reputation, economy, job creation, and social integration.
16- Minister of Defense, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, and the Deputy Prime Minister, who is also the Minister of Defense of Qatar, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Thani, signed a defense cooperation agreement in Doha to strengthen military ties and security collaboration between the two countries.
17- Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abdisalam Abdi Ali met with the Sudanese Ambassador to Somalia, Ambassador Abdirahman Khalil Ahmed Abubakar, to discuss strengthening the historical relationship between the two countries.
18- Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Salim Aliyow Ibrow had a bilateral meeting with Turkey’s Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş. The discussion focused on cooperation in social aid, family development, and social services.
19- Minister of Internal Security Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail opened an important meeting in Mogadishu of the Steering Committee for the second phase of the Joint Police Program.

21- The National Identity and Registration Authority (NIRA) has established a new center at the Somalia Embassy in South Africa, where Somali citizens can obtain national identity cards.
22- The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Somalia sent warm congratulations to the Somali leadership and people after Laas Caanood hosted the inauguration of the President of the North East State of Somalia, Mr. Abdulqadir Ahmed Aw Ali.
23- The Government of the Republic of South Sudan officially expressed its support for the positions of the African Union (AU) and the IGAD regional bloc regarding independence, unity, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
24- The Somali National Army thwarted an attack by the Kharijites Al-Shabab militant group on Jabad Godane in the Mudug region of central Somalia.
25- The elite-trained forces of Somalia’s Danab and Jubbaland’s Darwish forces achieved success in an operation at Kudhaa, in Lower Juba, after repelling the Kharijites extremists of Al-Shabab.
26- The Banadir Regional Police Command prohibited armed personnel from riding motorcycles in the city using private means of transport. They were also warned not to be seen in Mogadishu while not on duty.
